1st Hair Cut!

Sage has always had a lot of hair - A LOT!

It was time for her first hair cut...we were trying to wait till she turned 1 for some reason, but she was in need of a trim and fast. 

So off to Sharkey's we went in Temecula 

We arrived and sat in the chair for the cut. Sage sat on Momma's lap and watched TV to keep her occupied. She did wonderful. 

Was a sad day for me to see all of that hair cut off, but she looks so much better and like a little girl and not a little baby.

10 Month Birthday

Well since I am so late with posting this, it is almost her 11 month birthday and we are already planning her 1 YEAR birthday party! Crazy how fast time flies.

We went to Mamaw Jan's as always....Sage has grown so much since her first monthly birthday there....she is standing on her own and it won't be long till she is taking steps

Was a wonderful time, Sage was a bit tired, but slept the whole way home!

First Trip to Disneyland

Well it was Sage and my family's first trip to Disneyland!
We had a great time, how can you not?...It is the happiest place on earth!

J and I got our Annual Passports and then we all went to have some fun!
First stop was to get Sage and Drew some Mickey Ears! So off to the Madhatter we went

Just before we got into the hat shop - just outside was Goofy! 

Then on through the park we went...My mom's only request was to ride the "Teacups" 

She wanted the one with the pink hearts 

So the pink heart cup it was ;) 

We then went to "It's a Small World"

That was Sage's favorite ride, she didn't know what to look at, she was completely captivated. 

We had a great time and now will be going more frequently since we got our Annual Passes :)

A Trip to Coronado

We were supposed to go to Disneyland on Thursday, however we found out the park closed at 6 and we wouldn't be getting there till late afternoon, since J was coming off of a trip...not to mention it was to be another hot day in the triple digits....so we decided to go to where J and I got married and show the family.

Sage had her 9 month check up earlier that morning - Her Stats:
Weight - 19.8 lbs (75th percentile)
Height - 29 1/2" (97th percentile)
Head - 17 1/4"  (25th percentile)

We have a long and lean model on our hands, I believe :)

We then came home packed up and headed to meet J in San Diego....We got to Coronado around 1PM and stayed on the beach till 4:30 - This was Sage and my fathers first visit to the beach at all - and my Mom and Mama's first visit to the Pacific. We had a wonderful time - we then wanted to walk through Hotel Del and show them around and shop a little...however we got to experience our very first BLACKOUT! Everything was closed off, the bar was open so we all got a soda and then headed home....hoping that the lights were on soon...they weren't

We spent hours in traffic trying to get to J's truck and get home....it took us 3 hours to get near Temecula...we heard they had power still and so did our home (thank goodness) J ran out of gas almost home, we had to all crowd in my car and get home, this meant me riding in the hatch back...lol

We got home and J had our nephew Jake run him to his truck with gas.....he got home much later and we had already went to bed.

Was a great and eventful day to say the least
